The Health Center offers a compassionate continuum of care
Guided by Quaker principles that honor the dignity and intrinsic worth of each individual, Friends House Health Center is an 82-bed facility serving individuals in need of Skilled Nursing, and Rehabilitation. With high staff to resident ratio and low staff turnover, the Health Care center is one of Montgomery County’s top choices for nursing and rehabilitation. Stabler Hall is home to residents needing long-term services while Thomas Hall provides for short –term rehabilitation. Both Stabler Hall and Thomas Hall feature 24- hour nursing services, a full-time dietician, medical and mental health consulting services, a partnership with Medstar Physicians Group, and physical, occupational and speech therapy.
With easy access to nature, both Stabler and Thomas Hall residents can enjoy the beauty of Friends House. All residents across the Campus have access to an onsite pharmacy, home safety evaluations, and therapy through the Rehabilitation department. For more information on the Health Care Center or Haviland Hall, please contact our Admissions Director at 301-924-7530.
