Services at Friends House

Services included in the monthly fee:

• Periodic painting of interior and exterior
• Removal of snow and ice
• Lawn Care
• Trash removal
• Water and sewer service
• Equipment and appliance repair and replacement
• Garage or parking space
• Mechanical and structural repairs to the unit
• Administrative services
• Priority admission to Friends Nursing Home

There are many additional services that are charged on a fee-for-service basis such as: housekeeping, laundry, maintenance, meal service, guest meals, guest apartment, UPS pick-up, newspaper delivery, transportation, barber/beauty shop, pharmacy, country store, and cable TV.

There are monthly meal options available for the dining service program. Three meals per day may be served, although the majority of resident choose the evening meal. Apartment resident have a meal program as part of their monthly rental. Waited service in the dining room and entrée options are provided.

The Cottages and Apartments are designed for active individuals ages 62 and over (for couples at least one must be 62 or over) who are in good physical and mental health. Residents are expected to be able to live independently and to attend to their own personal needs at the time of entry. Admission to the Cottages is open to all applicants regardless of race, color, gender, sexual orientation, religious affiliation or national origin. We encourage you to come to Friends House for a personal visit with our Resident Director and preview our cottage program.
