Residences at Friends House

Friends House offers both Cottages and Apartments for independent living. The Cottages are private pay and based on an entrance fee model. There are five Apartments that are included in the private pay, entrance fee model as well. The majority of the Apartments are based on a monthly rental fee with income eligibility guidelines by the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) program.

Friends House offers two floor plans in its unfurnished Apartments: studio and one-bedroom Apartments. Each Apartment has an electric kitchen, an individually controlled thermostat, bathroom grab-bars, ample closet space, a patio garden, and an individual outside entrance. Additional storage space is provided within the building. Carpeted central corridors connect all Apartments and services under one roof and on one floor.

Cottage living at Friends House provides residents with well-designed private living space. The Cottages range in size from 604 sq. ft. to 1914 sq. ft. Occupants of the Cottages enjoy all the benefits of the retirement community, while living in an individual house. These residents join the Apartment residents and others in social functions, on committees and working on special projects.
