Haviland Hall

Haviland Hall, the main building of Friends Assisted Living Facility, houses the assisted living unit.  Haviland Hall is a certified Maryland Medical Assistance Facility.  Our staff is trained and equipped to provide quality long-term health care to our residents that need assistance to maintain or improve their physical and mental health.

    Haviland Hall has 18 private rooms and two semi-private rooms.  Each room is equipped with a personal bathroom and a large, lockable wardrobe containing several drawers.   Residents may bring some of their own furnishings to make them feel more at home.   Pictures, a small chest of drawers, a comfortable chair, reading lamp, radio or television are a few suggested items that are often brought by residents.  Telephone and cable television services are available in the rooms on a fee-for-service basis.   Personal laundry may be washed by the family, or arrangements can be made for laundry to be washed by our staff for a modest charge.

    Family and close friends are always welcome.  Our residents need the support of their family as well as the personal care we provide to help maintain physical and mental health.  Guests are allowed in the assisted living facility daily.  We offer accommodations on the Friends House Community campus for guests of residents.  Please make arrangements early if accommodations are needed.
