Assisted Living at Friends House Retirement CommunityHaviland Hall at Friends House is a certified Maryland Medical Assistance Facility for qualifying residents. Friends House staff is trained and equipped to provide quality assisted living care to residents who need these services in order to maintain or improve their physical, mental and spiritual health. Assisted living consists of 21 rooms, private or semi-private. Residents receive 24-hour personal assistance, medication management and administration, meals, laundry, housekeeping, planned activities and assistance with scheduling of medical appointments. The rooms have an emergency call system, TV connections, private telephones and private bathrooms. Residents may receive additional services such as physical therapy, occupational and speech therapy, beauty shop appointments, transportation and participation in campus social events. Assisted living residents have priority access to the nursing center.
